Fr. Micheal came to have a Pawtrait of himself done as a gift for his grandmother. I was shocked to learn that he still had parents alive, let alone a nanna - he looks a lot older than he is apparently. With a balding grey head and bags under the eyes. I learnt that Fr. Micheal had spent a lot of his early years in the priesthood in their legal department. He told me about an exorcism he performed back in 2013 that he believes was responsible for a localised flooding event that destroyed the local parish where his grandparents used to live, haunting stuff. He said he had to take time off work because of that to recover mentally, I asked him how a priest is able to take time off, and he claimed it was tricky because you're always thinking about work. I asked if he has any holidays coming up and he said he was going to do missionary work in Phillipines. I thought that seemed a bit strange, and started to explain how I thought it just felt wrong. But before I could get it across to him that it seemed like a bit of a busmans holiday and that he deserved a proper break he had already grabbed his candles and was out the door.
Fr. Micheal never paid for his Pawtrait, so I'm offering it to you.
